I am a high school social studies teacher at in Las Vegas, Nevada. My love of history led me to loving all things vintage; including the fashions, hair and lifestyles. As a teacher, wife and mother, I try to be a positive female role model. I believe that is what being a Pin-Up is about. They are smart, independent, strong, confident and secure with themselves, no matter what their race, size or age is. I love helping out active duty and military veterans in our local community and beyond. I also love pinup contests and have been in many local ones. I never go to win, I just go to make new friends and have a chance to get all dolled up and strut on stage. I think Jane Mansfield said it best “when I’m 100 I’ll still do Pin-ups and I like being a pin up girl… there’s nothing wrong with it!” It is women like her that inspire me to continue to be a positive force in the world and to also be confident in my own skin.
